Kira Bazzel, aka Kira Sinclair, announces the sale of her first book to Harlequin Enterprises. Whispers in the Dark will is an August 2008 Harlequin Blaze release. Sinclair has been writing for five years. Whispers in the Dark was the fourth full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Mitsi Bennett, aka Sloan Seymour, announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. That Montana Summer, a Western contemporary about a young debutante who heads west and falls for a penniless cattleman, will be a November 2008 print release. Seymour has been writing for five years. That Montana Summer was the first full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Joanna Campbell Slan announces her first sale to Midnight Ink a division of Llewellyn Worldwide. Paper, Scissors, Death: A Scrapbooking Mystery will be a fall 2008 release.
Wendy Davy announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. A Matter of Trust, an inspirational novel, will be a September 2008 release. Davy has been writing for 20 years. A Matter of Trust was the first full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Ellen Dye announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. Three's the Charm is an August 2008 release. Three's the Charm was the first book-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Ilona Fridl announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. Silver Screen Heroes, a historic suspense set in 1920-21 in Hollywood, California, will be a 2009 release. Fridl has been writing for eight years. Silver Screen Heroes was the second full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Rosemary Goodwin announces her first RWA-eligible sale to Samhain Publishing. Curtains in Stonington, a romantic suspense novel, was a July 2008 release. Curtains in Stonington was the fourth full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Eva Gordon announces the sale of her first book to Libros International. The Stone of the Tenth Realm, a fantasy romance, was a June 2008 release.
Kathleen Grieve announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. The Doctor’s Deception was a June 2008 Champagne line release. Grieve has been writing for two years. The Doctor’s Deception was the second full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Kathy Kulig announces the sale of her first book to Cerridwen Press. Wild Jade, a paranormal romance set in the jungles of Guatemala, is an adventure story in the realm of Indiana Jones meets his reincarnated lover. Wild Jade was a January 2008 release.
Delilah Marvelle announces the sale of her first book, as part of a two-book contract, to Kensington Publishing. Mistress of Pleasure, the first book in a series of a historical romances about a school that educates men in the art of love and seduction in London, England, 1830, will be a September 2008 release. Marvelle, a two-time Golden Heart finalist, has been writing for 11 years. Mistress of Pleasure was the 47th full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Jennifer Morey announces the sale of her first book to Harlequin Enterprises. The Secret Soldier, part of a mini-series titled All McQueen’s Men, features an ex-delta soldier who risks exposing his secret ties to a counter-terror organization when he is compelled to rescue a contractor from Afghanistan. The Secret Soldier is an August 2008 Silhouette Romantic Suspense release.
Cindy Munoz, aka Loucinda McGary, announces the sale of her first book to Sourcebooks. The Wild Sight, a contemporary romantic suspense with paranormal elements, will be an October 2008 Casablanca release. McGary has been writing with the intent of publication for four years. The Wild Sight was the third full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Anne Papadacos, aka Anne Hope, announces the sale of her first book to Samhain Publishing. Where Dreams are Made, a 2001 Golden Heart Finalist in the Single Title category, will be a fall 2008 e-release and a summer 2009 print release. Hope has been writing with the intent of publication for four years. Where Dreams are Made was the third full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Pam Payne, aka Tori Scott, announces the sale of her first book to Red Sage. Double Exposure is an August 2008 release. Scott, a 2003 Golden Heart finalist, has been writing for seven years.
Shari Thayn announces the sale of her first book to Black Lyon Publishing. The Chocolate Heiress was a July 2008 release.
Magnolia Delores Walker announces the sale of her first book to Red Rose Publishing. When Mariah Smiles will be a late 2008 e-release. When Mariah Smiles was the first of three full-length manuscripts she completed before selling.
Marilyn Weigel, aka Marilyn Brant, announces the sale of her first book, as part of a two-book contract, to Kensington Books. The first book in the contract, According To Jane: A Novel About Pride, Prejudice & the Pursuit of the Perfect Guy, won the 2007 GH for Best Novel with Strong Romantic Elements, and will be a fall 2009 release. Brant has been writing fiction for eight years. According To Jane: A Novel About Pride, Prejudice & the Pursuit of the Perfect Guy was one of seven full-length manuscripts she completed before selling.
Nancy J. Yeager, aka Nancy Hunter, announces the sale of her first book to Cerridwen Press. Taste of Liberty, a historical paranormal set during the American Revolution, was a July, 2008 e-release. Taste of Liberty was the first full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
